Viscous
“Our emotional life is really dominant over our intellectual life but we do not realize it.”
Agnes Martin, „Beauty is the mystery of life“ (1989)
The joy, the sorrow, the anticipation, the regret, the anger, the energy, the numbness, the flatness. The days go by in a similar format but still so completely different. Our bodies travel through life driven by conscious and unconscious signals influenced of what comes our way. Caused by the function of smaller and larger molecules that bind together in smaller and larger chains that affect the nature of our reactions and decisions. Not a robot without a will but undeniably with interesting and important connection to metabolism. Hunch is based on a feeling that becomes conscious for further processing.
The white Living Art Museum, the harbor, the Marshall House, the history, the blue sea, red-pink buoys, tarred sail trees, sorrow, regret, joy, light, smell, corals, red maple, dead nestling in the mouth of a man’s best friend, stired together in viscous tar. Terminating and protective at the same time.
